Five Minutes with Serena (Reenie) Taylor
1. I learned that sometimes you don't know the kind of work you'll be doing. Sometimes the experience comes to you, and you just have to be open to it. It is also very important to look at other photographers (artists) work. There is inspiration everywhere.
2. One thing that I'll take away after reading this article is that I cannot be tunnel visioned about where I want to take my art. Serena Taylor wasn't expecting to be a sports photographer, but things landed that way, and it was only through her openness to an experience like that, that she was able to make this her career and become successful in it.

Self-Growth, In The City
Christina Cubbage, a Marymount graphic design student moved from the town of Standly, a Virginian farm town, to Arlington Virginia. The move gave this MU scholar a new view on life, having found the existence of the city nightlife, over-reliance on navigation apps, and international friends.
